Peter Kerr

Mr. Peter Kerr

Chairman / Non-Executive Director

Peter Kerr is a Sydney-based commercial lawyer and non-executive director. He is a consultant with national law firm Thomson Geer and brings extensive legal experience supported by qualifications in both law and finance.

He currently serves as a board member of PAN-Tribal Asset Management and the Cronulla RSL Memorial Club, and holds national appointments as a Member of the National Sports Tribunal and of two constituent committees of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. At the state level, he is a Member of the Combat Sports Authority of NSW and the Hungry Point Land Manager.

Peter has previously held governance roles including Board Member of the Cronulla Sharks NRL Club, the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation, Sport Knowledge Australia, and as a Community Member of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Internationally, he has been a Member of the FINA Doping Panel since 2000 and, in 2018, was appointed as the Oceania Member of the Independent Ethics Commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees.

A former national representative in water polo, Peter also served as President of Water Polo Australia for many years. He was honoured to deliver the Judge’s Oath at the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

His contributions have been recognised with appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (2008) and as a recipient of the Australian Sports Medal.

Peter Aitsi

Mr. Peter Aitsi MBE

Non-Executive Director

Peter Aitsi is a senior Papua New Guinean business leader with over 30 years of experience from having led and managed a number of PNG’s leading companies. From 2011 to 2018 he held the position of PNG Country Manager for Newcrest Mining Ltd and formerly Senior Vice President of the PNG Chamber of Mines & Petroleum. 

He has recently concluded a Bank of Papua New Guinea appointment as a Statutory Manager for Comrade Trustee Services Limited in February 2023 and previously was Deputy Chair of the Superannuation & Life Insurance Review Committee from 2021 to 2023. He continues to serve on several boards of both listed and unlisted companies; Steamships Trading Company, Chair of MiBank PNG, Chair of PNG Property Developers Association and Chair of media company PNGFM Ltd. 

He studied Banking & Finance at the PNG Institute of Banking & Finance in Port Moresby (now IBBM), he is a member of the Australian Institute of Directors and a member of the PNG Institute of Directors (PNGID) and was awarded the Male Director of the Year in 2018. 

In a voluntary capacity, Peter has a long-standing involvement with community organisations such as Transparency International PNG, Badili Club of PNG, and Leadership PNG. In 2004 he was accorded a Queens award as a Member of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition for his contributions to the development of PNG media and his long standing voluntary service to various community organizations.

Georgina Leahy

Finance Manager / Director & Shareholder

Georgina Leahy is a Director and Shareholder of OM Holdings Ltd, contributing to the company’s strategic oversight, financial governance, and long-term organisational direction. She brings a strong professional background in accounting and finance, underpinned by extensive experience in financial roles across the Australian corporate sector.

Georgina holds a Master of Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business, and is an Associate Member of CPA Australia, further strengthening her professional capability in financial leadership and governance.

In her capacity as Finance Manager of OM Holdings Ltd, Georgina leads the organisation’s financial operations, supporting the Board and Executive Team through disciplined financial management, transparent reporting, and strong governance practices.

As a Director, Georgina is dedicated to upholding the company’s values and contributing to the continued success and stability of the organisation built over more than 30 years of operations.

Declan Leahy

Mr. Declan Leahy

Operation Manager / Director & Shareholder

Declan Leahy is a highly skilled and accomplished professional in Operations and Logistics with extensive experience in the construction and resources industries. Declan’s career began during his secondary schooling at Downlands College in Toowoomba, Australia, where he pursued his passion for boiler making through a school-based apprenticeship. He then expanded his career in boiler making, becoming well-versed in this trade through the completion of significant client contracts in Australia and overseas countries, including Papua New Guinea.

Since joining Oilmin Field Services in 2014, Declan has held various Field Management roles within the company, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership, a commitment to safety, and a passion for delivering results.

Declan is currently a Project Manager at OM Holdings, where he is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from inception to completion. His crucial role in managing the company’s Operations for projects showcases his dedication to his work, extensive knowledge of the industry, and ability to lead teams effectively. 

As an employee, director, and shareholder of OM Holdings, Declan’s passion and ongoing commitment makes him invaluable to the business. He is highly respected in the industry for his integrity, work ethic, and commitment to excellence, and he continues to be an asset to OM Holdings and the broader industry.
