Local Employment & Training
A core part of our CSR is prioritising local employment and providing intensive vocational training. This ensures project sustainability and creates long-term career pathways for PNG nationals in specialised technical fields.

The Sago Project (Gulf Province)
OILMIN proudly supports the Sago Projects in the Gulf Province. Senior Field Manager, Anthony Uechtritz, has spearheaded this initiative for several years, demonstrating the commitment and passion that drives OILMIN’s development efforts. Supporting Project Yumi
OILMIN actively supports PROJECT YUMI, an Australian registered charity and PNG not-for-project organisation. We provide supply and delivery of much-needed donations across PNG. Local Economic Participation
We continue to engage with local business communities in project areas throughout the country, fostering community business initiatives. This includes sourcing fresh produce, local timbers/rig boards, and supporting local employment, thereby contributing to the socio-economic well-being of the people of Papua New Guinea.
